Hard to close

They are meant to be hard to close so they stay on the shoelaces.

They don't stay on they keep falling outIt's super frustrating, right? You think they're secure, but then *bam* down they go again. Maybe it's time for some stronger adhesive? Or maybe a different approach is needed altogether.
